My HPR hybrid build date was September 4th then 9th then finally the 11th. Finally got built and when I checked on September 16th I read it shipped. I called Ford up the 22nd and was told it was in Arizona. Was told it should arrive between the 17th and the 27th of October. I tried to get the rail car # but neither Ford or my sales manger could tell me. My salesman was on vacation. He called me the 25th and said it's in Mexico. I said they better of not shipped it back. I called Ford on the 29th and was told it was in Illinois. Wow one week and went from Arizona to Illinois so I thought from Illinois to Lordstown Ohio should only take a few days. Called Ford on October 6th and was told it arrived on the 5th to my dealer 383 days later. Called my salesman and he called me back and said it's here. Yeah! so I set up the 14th to pick it up. Hopefully the money I am borrowing from a account will be in my bank on the 13th. I am having winter tires shipped to a tire shop near my dealer and will get them put on the 14th. They better get there. Will be selling the Continental Pro Contacts. Dealership is close to the tire shop so they will be brand new. Going to get some General tires and new rims for the summer season. Lots to get done before the snow flies. Rustproofing, undercoating, decals, body side moldings, mudflaps, hood scoop, grill bar painted, window tint, P.P.F and ceramic coating. I think I may run out of time trying to get this done. May have to wait on the hood scoop and grill bar until the spring.
I almost drove to the dealership to check out my Maverick yesterday. I think I can wait until next Saturday. I made sure I told my salesman not to have the front license plate frame put on or wash and wax it since I am getting it coated. He better make sure he lets the prep guys know that.

Congratulations, that's a long wait. Curious why you are swapping the Continentals for General Tires. General tires is Continentals budget brand.

Nothing like having a new Maverick to remind you of your old Maverick. Enjoy!

The Continentals are a basic tire. I went with Firestone OWL AT2 tires for my winter tires. Will go with General OWL for my summer wheel tire combo.
