I see quite a few people complaining about the stock Continental tires. Whether that's a justifiable complaint or not, is irrelevant to my question. For those that have received '25 Lariats, what tire did Ford put on your vehicle at manufacture, and how has it seemed so far? The 19" are new for '25, so curious how it's impacted noise and ride quality.

My 2025 Lariat came with Good Years (See Photo) I have less than 125 miles on them but did drive it home on the interstate about 70 miles very smooth and quite so far so good I’m happy

ā€˜25 Lariat, so same as previous post.
Road noise is fine. Didn’t hear the Michelins on my ā€˜22, don’t hear these.

Jury still out on comfort. The pressures seem a little high, which will give a rougher ride, especially being 19s. I haven’t lowered them yet. So right now, it seems slightly more bumpy/stiff than my ā€˜22. Could be the new suspension hasn’t settle just yet, I have less than 300 miles.

Not a fan of them at all. Ride is way stiffer than my 23 Tremor and while a lot of that can be attributed to the suspension a lot has to do with the tires as well.

Really wish I could have a 17ā€ wheel.

I plan on finding someone interested in swapping my 19s for 17s when my lariat comes in. I want more sidewall and I think it’s idiotic to put 19s on the truck, at least in lariat trim. Xlt has 18% more sidewall…

Yeah, jumping up 2 sizes and a less stiff suspension is going to be noticeable.

I never wanted to go from 17 to 18, because I was concerned about ride, but the ride in our Escape and my ā€˜22 Mav were fine; both had the Michelins.

Wasnā€˜t overly onboard with the switch to 19s, but I do like the look of the wheel better. Wasn’t too happy about the switch to Goodyear either. Never been happy with their OEM tires on past vehicles.

I definitely like the look of the 19ā€ tires but would prefer Michelins (my choice of tires on my other vehicles) over Good Year - no doubt I’ll make a change when I need to replace them but likely roll with what came on the truck for now…

Overall it’s a firmer suspension than the Tremor which had softer springs but stiffer shocks (to keep from hitting internal bump stops).

I guess the tire itself is fine. But for the Maverick I would prefer a 17ā€ 235 for ride comfort.

If there is one major criticism of the new Lariat vs my 23 Tremor, and I knew it would be the case, is the ride quality is very harsh and unsettled compared to the Tremor.

My 25 Lariat came with Goodyear tires. The ride was smooth and no road noise. I swapped them out for some 17's. I went with 245/65R17 Falken Wildpeak AT Trails and mounted them on my 17x7.5 +35 LP1 wheels. They fit perfect with no rubbing.

A little larger tire than I'd prefer but that looks damn good.

I had 235/65R17 on my 2022 Mav and they were great. The slightly larger 245's are nice. I think they fit the truck better.

Is it possible to install OEM tremor springs and shocks on other non-tremor awd mavericks, or would it mess up the CV axles because of the slight lift?

I think it would be fine to do but for the cost I’d rather look at a Flat Out Suspension kit.

The 2025s have upgraded CV axles. We don’t know what that means yet but if they are longer and the same type of axle it is possible that hybrid owners could use tremor cv axles even but that’s a stretch ultimately and someone far more mechanically sound that myself would have to tackle that.
