There have been other mentions of tire sizes, but when doing the Build & Price or dealer order, the 235 tire option is only available for XLT on the 17" alloy wheel (with machined face), which requires $795 more and takes away the black painted "Unique aluminum" wheel package that comes with the FX4 trim. The Lariat Luxury first edition includes the black painted "Unique aluminum" wheel and 235 Aggressive AT tires.

If Ford is monitoring feedback, this larger, more aggressive tire on the black FX4 wheel should be a standard option for all FX4 packages. I'll keep my XLT FX4 package and will need to go swap tires out to get the same look and off-road performance you already have in the parts bin. We will then need to reflash the computer for the larger tires. Perhaps there will be a mini-Sasquatch alongside the ST sport package in the future.

Fully agree with this, I definitely want the aggressive tires with the black wheels. Should be standard.

I'll likely just hold off on the $800 upcharge for the passenger rated 235/65/17 Falken Wildpeak, stick with the 225/65/17 and spend $800 on some much taller LT all terrain tires out of my own pocket. I actually really like the black wheels included with the FX4 package and it's a shame the tire selection from Ford is so poor for those wheels.

Agreed, the black Unique aluminum wheel is good looking and clearly has the right offset for the larger tire. I'll keep the wheel and revisit tires once I see what is actually on it when I get it. The FX4s I've seen in the Ford gallery look really good stock.

I believe the 225/65/17 is the Pirelli Scorpion ATR which is what is used on the Bronco Sport. I haven’t seen really any good reviews for them as an AT. Most people say they have terrible mud and snow traction. Sad they didn’t go with Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus which is a significantly better tire.

Also, I just realized the FX4 package wheels are the same as the ones on the Bronco Sport First Edition.

Same here spec'd out the truck with the FX4 on Ford.com and selected the 235's with no mention of an upcharge or wheel change. When placed order it shows up with the $795 upcharge. I really like the standard wheels so stuck with the 225's.

I think the 235/65R17 may come standard with with the FX4 package.

The Marverick trim pamphlet has the FX4 listed as getting AT tires on unique aluminum wheels. There are only two AT options available for the Maverick.
1) 225/65R17 AT, which are listed as an option for XL & XLT (FWD only).
2) 235/65R17 AT, which is listed as an option on the XLT & Lariat trim levels.

With the 225/65R17 AT only being available on XL & XLT FWD, the FX4 package would have to come with the 235/65R17 AT.

225/65 R17 A/T Tires are stock with the FX4 package.

I was able to add the 235/65R17 tires on the Lariat FX4 without switching to the extra cost wheel. I wonder if that is actually a no cost option on the FX4 Lariat, or if the build and price has a glitch.
Ford Maverick 235 Aggressive AT tires should be standard in FX4 package Captur

I was told my truck, which has both 4K tow and FX4 come with the 225 tires. I can get the aggressive tires for less at a tire store.

225/65 R17 A/T Tires are stock with the FX4 package.
Where were you able to find the info detailing tire size? The only information I could find on the package stated AT. I attached the pdf which led me to believe they are 235/65's. Maybe I am interpreting it wrong.🤷

Ford Maverick 235 Aggressive AT tires should be standard in FX4 package 1625083543020

235 are locked to the 17" Aluminum Alloy Wheels. This is listed in the configure build and price on Ford's website.
