Stock size on the Maverick is 225/60/18 for my XLT I looked through the list and found taller and quite a bit wider tires but what I was looking at when I switch was to just fill the wheel wells a bit more. I didnt see a lost for(fit or didnt unless i missed it) would a slightly wider/taller 235/65/18 fit? anyone running them?? I didnt even see the size listed(though they make tires for this size) would this fill the wheel wells a bit more and still fit stock?? I found this online as I have 0 clue on tires other than doing research to see what to get but as far as switching sizes no clue.

Sell em and get the right size tire. About 55-series would be right.
Alternatively you could play around in the engineering test mode display and alter the tire size factor, and then put it back when you switch back to summer tires.

Im not trying to sell anything lol.. I am asking if(since i didnt see it on the tire list at all) when the stock 225 60 18's wear out if anyone knew if 235 65 18's would fit to fill up the wheel well more it would be a AT tire im not asking about snow tires or summer tires just if a size AT thats slightly bigger would fit as I didnt see anything about it in the "these fit/these dont" sticky.

Id like to fill the wheel well a bit more without worrying about rubbing.

Yes it will fit.

I have 235/70/17 on stock 17's which is the same overall size as 235/65/18 and it fits with no rubbing.
I don't have super aggressive AT tires though so that might have an impact, but I think even AT tires should be fine.

I did 245/60 R18... its a nice size. but you are limited to inputting 235/65 R17 as the closest diameter...
yeah I didnt need the extra width just wanted to try to fill up the wheel well gap. the width of a 225 or 235 is fine... heck if it was made and would fit id take a 225/70/18 ;) BTW Im used to getting stuff like 31 10.50's for a Nissan Frontier and stuff like that lol

I had the Gen2 Frontier.... upgraded to 16" rims that were take-offs from a 2020..... I did 265/65 R16 (from 235/70 R15), but never changed the differential.... so my anemic 2.5 4cyl w/ its tall geared 5speed manual really suffered from a lack of torque. Lot of 4 gear down shifts on highways even on the interstates (high elevations didn't help either).... the minor lift (1 1/2" front, 1" rear) caught more wind too, so that only exacerbated the situation.

So, I was careful not to repeat that mistake with the Maverick. (the extra 100hp and forced induction help too. LOL) I have the 4K Tow package which has a lower differential.... so even going from 225 to 245... I'm still near the Stock non-4K tow total rpm to distance traveled ratio.... so no perceivable loss of torque. But my speedo is off slightly...

Mine (obviously since it didnt even come with a hitch)doesnt have the tow package but most its towing is a jet ski trailer with a kayak on it or a 10-12' Jon boat even my Forester handled that just fine so im sure even without the tow package the maverick is capable of that(400-500 lbs tops and that over estimating the kayak and jet ski trailer separately at 200 lbs each)

As someone else said, yes they will fit.

More specifically, you can fit up to 255 width and 30.1” diameter without any rubbing. You will start to get mild rubbing at full lock with 30.5” diameter. At 31.1”, you will need to trim the fender liners and pinch seams, but there are MTC posts that show it being done.
