2025 XLT bed side mounted tool box

This item is available at both Home Depot or Lowe's plus elsewhere. Has anyone installed one? I'm curious about it fitting square to the side of the bed. I have a Softopper installed so it'll have to be mounted below the top of the side of the trucks side rail to clear the Softoppers mount. I'm concerned with the Mavericks inner bed side not being flat because of the bends for 2 x4s to aid in carryingplywood. Yes, I have contacted the manufacturer, but have been unable to get a direct answer.

These appear to be vehicle specific, and none I found on the Vevor website fit the Maverick. There is another brand that does, on Amazon, but at double the price.

Have the Ford version on the left side (ordered when truck was ordered). Nice, but stupid me... Should have bought the right side. The left mounts in front of the bed light and plug. Grrrr

I would hope the lights and plug will still be accessible. I would think you will just have to open, swing out the box, to use the light or plug. I would have preferred the passenger side just be further from traffic if parked on the street

The Ford one does swing out but now blocks the bed.

I ended up ordering an Indeed Camping brand tool box from Discount Ramps. It's web page gave the dimensions, and it appears to be an easy fit. And I also saw it on another site, mounted on a Maverick. It's cheap, so the lock is likely junk, but I'll have a hard tonneau cover over the top of it, so locking it isn't a priority.

I haven't received it yet, but the dimensions look like it should fit without any interference. I'll post after I get it installed.
