I thought my special order 2025 XLT was going to have a 120v outlet. This was not the case; only a 12v wiring harness in the bed.

Can a 120v outlet be added to the bed? If so, are there any instructions/videos for how this would be done?

Do you want to install a “inverter”? if so you can do a search in this forum to see what others have done

Just curious - what do people use the 120V outlet for? My understanding is that it can't handle much of what I wanted to use it for (power tools & vacuum). At least I can use it to charge the batteries for my cordless tools.

I don't use it all the time but it's handy when I need it.
It's good for 400 watts. I use it for my e-bike charger.

I think I found a good solution. I’ll use the 12 volt wiring option to install a panel; USB ports and cig lighter ports. That’s all a guy needs. Thanks

Did you install this in the bed of your truck? If so was it hard in the since that there might be a factory wiring in the area in case the truck came with the outlet to begin with.
