If you order through @Granger Ford the process is handled via email and is painless and fast.
If you have time to call Ford marketing and your dealer, plus post on this forum, you have time to place an order 😉.
I will not be ordering via email again. Had I done this in person to begin with and physically sat there while this was ordered then I wouldn't be in the situation I'm in now.

A 24 might be a good idea but as noted you can't drive it home until the camera recall is cleared and it's already been a month with no fix. But since the 25's are coming the dealer might deal on one? U could email one of the above dealers I mentioned and do it on line but they are not close to TX so not sure if that would work for you. I flew to Phily and IA to buy and drive home 2 of my Mavericks. Guessing a 24 might be the quickest but the fly in the soup is the recall.
Did you ever hear ack from your dealer?
Good hunting
The issue I ran into this past summer was that I couldn't find the one I want for the life of me. I called 16 different dealerships in the Houston, Austin, and San Antonio market and got nothing. I did this over about 2-3 months. Apparently, the base model white ones get sucked up before they ever hit the lots by fleet.

That's your choice. Your current situation involves a completely different dealership who apparently didn't place your order.
Many of us here on the forum have ordered via email from @Granger Ford without issue.
I always received prompt responses to any communication with them, including providing a copy of my DORA.

Good luck in your search.

I suppose that it's possible that some dealers order in front of you, but I'd be surprised.

Mine printed a detailed sheet with total price (matching granger), gave me a manager's signature that my deposit was refundable (hand written and signed; sounds like my level of paranoia doesn't come up much), and then it went in the hopper for a different group of employees. At 9:00 A.M. Someone presumably entered it, and at 9 AM EST the next morning, Ford emailed me a confirmation of my order.

Anyway, it would seem unlikely that a sales critter would actually be the one to enter the order into Ford's system.

There is also Long McArthur Ford, https://www.long-mcarthur.com.

Tim the internet sales manager does a lot of videos on YouTube about Ford stuff.

Alright, so update on this. I finally found the time to get to a Ford dealership close to me yesterday. My friend advised me to talk to fleet and not the sales department because apparently their compensation is more volume oriented than a salesperson's, and they're very familiar with ordering vehicles all the time.

I tell Garrett from fleet my story, he asks for the build that I made online, looks it over, then says he has the same one (minus the spray in bed liner and tailgate lock) in transit now. "Actually, hang on a minute, I think it might have been delivered. Let me go look." Comes back ten minutes later and says it was delivered that morning! The price on it was a grand less then what I was going to pay to order, but it was $500 for the bed liner and tailgate lock. I parked my brand new 2025 Maverick in my driveway today after they changed those two things!!!

What a crazy experience going in expecting another 3-6 months of wait only to have it today!!! Glad I went in person and didn't try ordering over the phone again!!!

Now to find some black rims to replace the standard hubs it came with! Also, I'm going to take it back to the dealership tomorrow because they put their damn decal on it, and I don't want to mess up the paint trying to remove their advertisement.

Overall, I like the truck! It's going to take me a minute to adjust to the touch screen, but I think the truck is going to be a perfect workhorse for my projects in and around the house! Very excited!!! Here it is before I drove it off the lot!

Congratulations!
Thanks!

I contacted the service department earlier today though and set up an appointment to come in in two weeks. The driver's side tailgate chord has zero tension in it when the tailgate is fully opened (which I have read is a common issue), and one of the dealership's employees vandalized my tailgate with graffiti that needs to be removed. Realistically, I should be requesting a new tailgate. The graffiti can be removed, but there's no way it will leave the paint underneath in the same condition as it was before they put that on there.

Are you referring to the dealership decal as graffiti, or is there actual graffiti as well?

Oh it's the dealership decal haha! It really pissed me off, but that's just my opinion on the subject.

I used the 31,000 reward points and the current 15% off discount code that Ford has going now through the website to pay $375 for a hitch installed. I need to contact the dealership tomorrow to have the install appointment scheduled.

Oh I already got it. Like I had mentioned a handful of days ago, I went to order another last week and it turns out they just got one in that I was looking for that morning. I parked it in the driveway the next day!

I got 31,000 points from Ford Pass from purchasing the truck, and I used that, plus a 15% off discount ford.com is running right now to get $211 off a on a hitch receiver. Out the door installed it was $375 and I scheduled to have that done a week from today.

Also, I ordered black rims today to replace the hubs mine came with. Nothing crazy, but I wanted black rims. These are 17" too and will use the same tires I currently have. $700 installed with the lock lugs. Those should be put on this Friday.
