2025 hybrid - "no timeout" idling?

I need to charge my camper's battery through the 120v bed outlet overnight. I started the truck, left a fob inside and locked the doors with a key, it's working fine, the engine starts every half hour or so for 3 minutes to recharge the HVB then shuts down.

The problem is, this only works for about an hour then the truck times out and stops "running".

Is there any way to prevent the truck from timing out? I seen to remember a post explaining how to do this but I searched and I can't find it.

Must not have an XL trim, keyless start has that half hour timeout. That is a big gripe with Ford technology. My Prius will go running forever untouched.

You need Forscan software (download to a laptop, not a phone) and a compatible OBD cable (~$40) to make an adjustment to the vehicle settings. I imagine that if enough people message Ford support about it, an user adjustment could be added to the UI in the future... it does seem a relatively frequent request.

For anyone looking for this info, I've found it and you DON'T need Forscan to do it. Note that this is a temporary override - as soon as you turn the truck off, this will reset to the default 30 minute maximum idle time.

SWITCHING AUTOMATIC ENGINE STOP ON AND OFF
In the center screen, press the Home icon in the upper left corner
1. From the settings menu, press Vehicle.
2. Switch 30min Max Idle on or off.

I needed the truck to supply 120v power for several hours and this works 100%. The 120v inverter works nonstop and the truck will start the engine once in a while to recharge the battery. PERFECT.
