Does the red triangular dash button that activates the emergency flashers illuminate solid red when headlamps etc. are on and pulsate/flash red when the flashers are activated by pushing the triangular dash button?

I used my main light control knob [to the left of the steering wheel] in auto, manual, etc and made sure the brightness control for dash lights was in the full bright position, covered the light sensor on the top of the dash but my emergency button does not illuminate.'

Is it supposed to illuminate?

Illuminate. Yes.
Does the red triangle Flash when the flashers are activated. NO mine Do Not.

Emergency flasher - Yes, I checked this evening in my dark garge.and mine looked like your photo. Is it supposed to blink when it is on/engaged or does yours stay solid as in the photo even when the flashers are in use/blinking?
