2023 XL - Does remote start still work thru FordPass even with the modem delete?

Can't wait to take delivery in a few weeks. The window sticker says remote start through the app. There is also a line item mentioning the mandatory hotspot delete. Does remote start still work via the app even with the hotspot gone?

Yes. My wife's new 2023 Bronco Sport doesn't have the modem and it works without an issue!

Yes-
the modem is still there (so truck is connected via cellphone network) but the WiFi hotspot is NOT there.
