So you blast Ford quality while buying one. What is so bad about Ford quality?I haven't bought one yet because it's been 15 months and Ford isn't going to build it.
Also - the "build quality" doesn't change between trim levels there pal. Would you come after Sam Haymart for buying an XL? Or pointing out the substandard issues with the Maverick?
People who like the Maverick are also allowed to be critical of the Maverick. Customer feedback is important for the refresh and next generation Mavericks to improve upon what we have today.
And I sold the CRV and drive a Tesla Model 3 currently when not driving my Bronco.
G'day!

Let me get this right. You blast a $20k vehicle that you don't have for quality. You bought a 2022 Honda that you've sold already. You bought a Bronco ($40k-$60k or more) that is a Ford after saying Ford quality is bad. Are you comparing this to a Tesla that cost $46k to $65K if new and has it's own problems.I haven't bought one yet because it's been 15 months and Ford isn't going to build it.

No I'm comparing a Ford Maverick to a Ford Maverick. It was built to a price point and that price point comes at the expense of build quality in the form of cost cutting measures - some of which can be hailed as smart engineering (twist beam rear axle in hybrids) and others are not and are open for criticism. So you blast Ford quality while buying one. 2022 Long Range (261,450 built in the US). 7,400 miles of worry free motoring.hope you have a new model 3, the older ones are turning to crap
Remember, you asked:No I'm comparing a Ford Maverick to a Ford Maverick. So far we've seen 6 recalls ranging from brake lights appearing on when they aren't (safety issue), side curtain air bags (safety issue), hybrid engine fires (safety issue), a brake issue while towing (BIG safety issue), and another for rear seat belts not being attached properly - where children likely are.
That doesn't address the 12v battery issue and dead hybrids, nor the eCVT transmission and brake shudder in hybrids.
Also - Tesla has been worry free motoring for 7,400 miles now. A few software updates here and there. What problems do you speak of?
What a list of problems with the Model 3!Remember, you asked:
All in all, the Model 3’s physical features function better than most competing EVs. Its the digital ones that get it in deeper water.Despite the high praise the company gets for its software updates, they actually make things worse sometimes. Josh says recent updates made heat heaters and tire pressure less accessible.

Lack of support for Carplay and Android Auto is another common grievance from Tesla owners. Tesla could manage without if it have enough apps on board to make up for the difference, but it doesn’t.But the main problems with Tesla’s software are found in its most advanced programs. Many drivers experiences glitches in AutoPilot and full self-driving modes, from accidents and close calls to phantom braking.

These issues could be easily avoided if Telsa also offered a regular cruise-control program, but right now, it’s AutoPilot, Self-Driving, or nothing.
Remember, it's not me saying the manufacturers of the vehicles you have are bad quality. It's you that said FORD quality was bad. Keep in mind the Maverick is a completely new model. Ford is very pro-active about recalls, something other manufacturers only do when required. ALL manufacturers have issues with their vehicles and again, keep in mind the price point when comparing.
