I got 2.9 for 48 mos. Around nov 1 for my hybrid from ford credit
Sounds like an offer for a 2022. Ford isn't offering any rates for 2023s. Their finance people pull your credit and do an overall poor job of finding you a rate by shopping it around. Much better off with a credit union or paying cash.

Depends on the dealer. I've had them find me a rate from a local credit union that was competitive, albeit with an 0.25% markup from what the CU offered directly..

Ford Credit is usually only competitive when they have promotional/incentive/"subvented" (basically subsidized) interest rates. Otherwise, a competitive credit union will typically be much lower. Near me, they don't seem to be much lower than 4.24% at 60 months, stretching up to 6.12% if not higher.

Others may be able to chime in on rates they've recently been quoted.

Note that the rates advertised and listed in the recent thread below are for 2022 Mavericks only, with 2023 being whatever the rate is on the date you applied for the loan.

I am not really worried about interest rates right now. By the time I get notice of being built the rates will probably be lower😅😅😅

The Ford website is currently showing a flat 5% regardless of length of loan, but this is in the field that lets you change it. There is no hard rate, like is there usually. This may or may not be accurate, and may just be because they gave up trying to keep the website up to date. I do believe 5% is probably in the ballpark, but find it odd that it is the same across all loan lengths.

5% is a default value when there are no advertised rates. Would've said the same thing back when rates elsewhere were below 2% for 60 months. Don't read anything into it.
