I’d be surprisedAlso 360 copilot, I think they would sell at MSRP if someone wanted it soon.

Try $14,589 over MSRP…(no I did not pay this, told them do not put a dealer markup in on my window, so they put it in the glove compartmentInteresting! Gone are the days of the dealer being thrilled and adding on $10-15k ADM! Now it’s “do you know someone who might be interested?” I guess they’re not anxious to put it on the lot with a discount.
Like a Pyramid scheme you gotta get in early…and at the top..I think you are close to the truth.
The flipper distress problem has already shown up with some EVs. Seems many Rivian flippers are barely covering their costs. Used car values in general are also dropping fast based on industry auction activity.
The whole Maverick ADM thing was always an absurd anomaly, especially considering it’s an economy car (a good one, but still just a commodity economy car).
The 2024 order books are still open and delivery times are getting shorter, so the incentive to pay more for used is gone. By next summer it should be back to normal where Mavericks start depreciating as soon as you drive them off the lot.
I should have left HI out of the equation! It’s not like your houses are affordable either. Living on an island is definitely not cheap! I live on an island also but there are 2 bridges that lower transportation costs for goods.Try $14,589 over MSRP…(no I did not pay this, told them do not put a dealer markup in on my window, so they put it in the glove compartment)

We’re outta here..sold our house, caretaking my mother in law until she passes in the family home (which is a shack worth $1 million!) Used to be great living here, I don’t know how families do it…some lady drove by me in Home Depot parking lot in a late model Silverado with special wheels and asked me if I could feed her kids…I should have left HI out of the equation! There was a White Lariat with the Black pkg marked up to $51k, someone drove off with it the night I got possession of mine.. I bet they paid full price so they could get the “Home Valet”…I hope they call them everyday..”can you pick me up? I paid for this service!, you said HOME VALET!, I want you to take me to McDonalds! Now!”I should have left HI out of the equation! It’s not like your houses are affordable either. Living on an island is definitely not cheap! I don’t know how they do it either! I’m in St Augustine and no one working at restaurants or shops can afford to live in the city anymore. My taxes keep going up along with flood/homeowners and car insuranceWe’re outta here..sold our house, caretaking my mother in law until she passes in the family home (which is a shack worth $1 million!) In my case I actually thought my 2023 would never get built. It didn’t and was rolled over to 2024 scheduled to be built in October. This was never done on purpose it’s just the way it worked. The dealer asked me about buying my 2023 that I bought off of the lot when the new truck comes in. Again not on purpose. This has me thinking...
I've noticed that a lot of members on here who already own MY22 or MY23's have placed MY24's on order. I presume because they are hoping to sell or trade in their older Maverick for a profit and essentially get a new one for free. So what happens when the bottom drops out of the flipper market? Will they still take delivery on the MY24 and sell their old one for a net loss? Could be that a lot of orders get cancelled then maybe and the dealers actually get some inventory.
Or I could be completely out to lunch on this.
