First, with my 1st Edition ecoboost Lariat with ACC, when it slows the truck down are the brake lights activated?
2nd...When in sport mode, when I depress the gas like to pass a vehicle when I lift my food off the gas it seems like the main computer does not recognize that I have lifted my foot off the gas and the engine keeps revved up to about 3k but the truck actually slows down if this makes sense. I did have the mobile ford tech come out to address the tail light recall but it looks like another recall needs to be addressed per my Ford Pass

On my 24 Hybrid Lariat the brake lights do come on when the ACC is braking behind a vehicle (while in stop and go traffic). I confirmed this by seeing the reflection in a truck's chrome bumper. Since my truck is a hybrid I am not sure of at what point the computer decides if brake lights should be on when regenerative braking is in action. I would think the EcoBoost scenario would be more cut and dry - coasting no break lights, auto braking = break lights. As for the engine revving. I don't use sport mode as it goes against everything a hybrid is meant to be (and its lame - especially in hybrid with an eCVT with the fake shifting etc.). I believe the revving you hear is generated by the speakers and not the ICE so more than likely the computer generated rev sound is out of sync with the computer responses to your foot pressure on the gas peddle (fly by wire). I am not sure if the sound system is responsible for making the sound but maybe a reboot of your sound system will help.

Fairly certain what you are hearing/feeling when you take your foot off the gas in sport mode is just the transmission holding the gear, which is likely doesn't do in the normal mode. I was surprised at the transmission tuning in Sport, it is oddly more aggressive than I was expecting.
