I recently installed this system in my truck (please note that this is not the final product). I have some plans to enhance her appeal, and I’m switching the NVX out for a LC2I tomorrow. Also Before installing the Epicenter, the bass was great, and I didn’t notice any significant impact on the mileage or the system’s performance. However, I made a foolish decision to burn out an amp, so I decided to replace it with the same P300X1 amp and install the Epicenter. I’ll either add to this thread with the final product or start a new thread tomorrow.

Question - how did you attach the amp rack to the back wall?

Self tap screws and had to bend the bracket for the Bose speaker, Not an easy task but I’m happy with the results.

Sorry for putting this off today I had to wait for the lci2 pro to show up.
The reinstall took some time. I routed the wires for the two front speakers to the lci this time previously I had the rear pillars hooked up and was getting quite a bit of everything else. Not a bad choice if you want something done quick though. I’ll get photos of it later tomorrow or tonight we’ll see.

Did you ever get the epicenter all worked out? I had one years ago with 2 - 10's in sealed boxes that sounded great and was debating one for the Maverick.

Can you expand on that? What length/size? I was under the impression that the back wall was pretty thin. I'd be scared of going through it.

the back wall itself is indeed very thin and screws will go through it. I jb welded footnuts on mine but that really only worked because it's holding a small amp. if you have an amp rack and multiple amps you'll either need a lot of small fasteners... or at several places will need to attach to factory reinforced areas (like the b&o amp attachment point).

Ah. I was asking because I'm looking for a way to mount my Kicker HS-10 to the back wall. It weighs a little under 12 lbs and vibrates a lot so I don't think JB "welded" mounts would work too well.

nope, you'll need something more substantial, I think. it was fine to hang a little Kicker Key 500.1.

there's a bunch of threads on the HS10, you'll probably find some good solutions searching a bit.
