Hey there everyone! I should be getting my 2.0 Maverick next week. I’m considering putting a 2” lift on her. Has anyone here done that, or have any advice, pros and cons?

Unless someone has come out with a kit that centers the rear wheel, I wouldn't lift it. All of them I saw when I was considering a lift pitched the rear wheel forward just enough that my OCD couldn't deal with it. I have a level kit, haven't had any issues but i have read of others with leaking cv axles.

I have a set of Eibach lift springs on order and hope to have them installed in the next week or two.
There have been plenty of posts here already with lift springs or kits installed though.

No issues with my 2” FordRangerlift. Took about 5 to 6 hours for installation by me in driveway. Make sure on all lifts the strut is ground back to clear the cv boots in the front.

That is a "Sharp Dressed Man" right there!

How big are those tires? and How did it effect the mileage? Do you feel much power loss going with the larger tires? Thank You

They are 245/65/17 Toyo Open country. I have lost some gas mileage but I mainly drive in town. Get about 22 in town.
There is no power loss at all.

If you plan to really go off-road get a full suspension kit like flatout. Rough Country also has one but not many reviews on it yet. If you just are going for looks get body lift but get a kit that comes with everything for camber adj etc like hrg.

I didn’t have to cut the pinch welds either. I was referring to strut grinding on the inner side where it can potentially cut the cv boots.

I didn't have to do that. The RTR went right in, but then again they are an official upfitter for Ford like Rousch and Shelby.
