18 months later finally got my loaded FE hybrid

It’s been quite a journey. I ordered a First Edition hybrid Maverick loaded on July 6th 2021. I got tired of waiting for it
So in November I bought a Santa Cruz SEL with activity package. I kept
My deposit on the FE so I could decide if I wanted it when it came in. I absolutely loved the SC, put 25k on it in a little more that a year. I figured I would probably keep it. Just last week the dealership called and my First Edition hybrid that I ordered came in. I went down and drive it and decided to trade the SC in and bought this, lowering my payments by 50
dollars a month. I have only had it a few days but am very impressed. I loved my SC but this is even better and driving 25k in a years I know I will love the savings on gas.

Ford should have called it the Last Edition with all the time it took. You would think First Editions would be clost to first off the line.

Not quite the last Mine was built November 23rd, 2022 after original order in July 2021. Pretty convinced I've got the absolute last first edition made (whenever it arrives - supposed to be December 20th)

Congrats on getting your FE after 18 months, but let’s not forget that Ford didn’t even start producing the hybrids and release them until December, 2021. Still, even at that, 18 months is still quite a long time!!

Glad you like the Maverick better than the SC. I’ve never been a fan of the SC. It looks like a car that wants to be a truck. The Maverick is a truck that looks like a truck and does truck things. You’ll love yours as much as I love mine!!!

That would definitely be a last First Edition, on the day they supposedly switched over to 2023 builds.
