I used clear silicone to hold it back in place... no issues since.

i noticed when i picked up from the dealer, pushed it back in... i have new ones on order, plan to install as per the ford manual more to see if it resolves it 100%. Seems like a factory install issue, it's a minor/weird cosmetic issue. I plan to figure out when i install it, if this is more a cosmetic issue than a water issue down the road, if it was a water issue I would expect it to become a recall.

Sounds good. Let us know. I have a feeling your new ones will have the same issue since the rubber is attached to the roof rail drip by a hair.

If they were designed right, that rubber would go the full length on both sides. Dang economy truck.
I’m the same boat! Mine popped out three days ago!… things have really begun to add up.. argh!
* New ford oval backup camera bezel ordered and replaced.
* Service 12v charging system fault continues without repair!!!
* Radio software won’t update and dealership acts clueless!!
* the horrible clicking/ticking/popping of front windshield (awaiting another appointment) to find and repair. Appears new windshield fixes this!?!
*random door chime going between 2022 sound to some old chime sound.
* Horrible vibration and metallic sound during acceleration through front dash/hood area.
*missing fender insulators
*rear black plastic molding on driver side by roof top where this rubber issue is at is starting to gap out more!?
* Noisy engine and growling/thudding and metallic sounds***randomly drives smooth and quiet or horribly noisy??
It’s a cool looking truck, but I’m getting tired of these things, and it appears right now I could get almost 5-10k$ more for it than I bought it for…. $33,500.00 was my final purchase price. Maybe I need to exchange for something else…but what lol. My gas mileage and power and versatility is awesome!….Sorry for my long rant and bad attitude… I’m just getting bummed out a bit. Thanks for reading! G

Following this along with other threads reporting the same issue! I'm leaning towards just fixing myself vs having the hassle of having the dealer order a replacement part that is going to give you the same headache again down the road. I am curious to see if they fix it though and it was just a factory install issue....(fingers crossed)

Did you ever get an answer about the 12v charging fault? Just got mine back from the dealership with a new alternator and the light has been coming on every 10-20 minutes today! Back to the shop it goes! My service department has been great but I start a new job in two weeks and I’m going to need to drive a lot more…this is now bueno! Maybe I should’ve gotten a Canyon or Colorado?
