I checked on Wednesday and no modules. Looked at Ford tracker today and the "production" bubble had a date above it that was not there yesterday. So, I checked modules today and boom.

This is my 3rd special order in the last 5 years from Ford. Even though I've had dozens of new cars, it's still fun anticipating. This is the least expensive car I've owned in probably 25 years. But it's still exciting.
Hey, congrats! I'm really excited for you!

For some reason, mine still doesn't have a date. Seem to be the only one lol I guess I'm constrained or something. Not sure. I'm thinking they're going backward regarding place in line. I noticed that I was 372 out of 2204 while you were 384, I believe. Another person was 680 something and they were produced in the middle of the week, so early on. And, again, you were given a production date today. So I think that instead of going 1, 2, 3...and so on, they are going 2204, 2203, 2202...etc.

Orrr maybe I'm trying to justify something that I can't control lmao not sure

I don't think those numbers mean anything, the VIN might be more telling...

Gotcha, the last digits for my VIN is 07530. Not sure if that's good or bad

fwiw, I am 078xx, and 4xx/2204, and have been in production (with no date showing) since 12/13. Hyb XL with hitch.
Still no date on prod, still no modules.
Man, then idk lol I guess they're just randomly choosing. I don't have any constraints on my Ecoboost. Both the CP360 and the Lux packages are not constrained. I'm really happy for those who got theirs built. But that probably means that we both won't get built for another week due to the holidays. That's almost 3 weeks of production

Maybe it's the color that's constrained 😂

Did Ford chat tell you anything?

What is surprising, my buddy ordered the first day, same XL Hybrid, no constraints, etc. He has heard nothing, he ordered from a very small dealer in So Cal, probably limited allocation. At Galphin, they had 600 orders, and I am one of first to get it at their dealership. So, if I had to do this again, find the biggest dealership and roll your dice.

Meh, whatever, whenever. I’m not too worried. Carbonized Gray?

I also have an EB XL scheduled for Jan 30th. Both are fresh, new orders, so anything in Q1 is ahead of expectations.

And chat? They have been super helpful today.

Ahh gotcha. That's awesome that you got scheduled! I've been waiting on mine since January, so almost a full year in a few weeks. I did manage to get into contact with Ford Chat and asked them, not about the status, but where it's at in the production process as I was already aware it was in production. The agent told me it was in the second stage of the build process, or the "Trim Level". Did a bit of digging and this means that the vehicle has been painted and is just waiting for parts for the final assembly. Maybe Ford Chat could tell you which stage you're on in production? You're probably in the same stage with me

No, dealer size doesn’t matter. Big dealers = 100s of orders and hundreds of allocations. Small dealers = tens of orders and tens of allocations.

I ordered two Mavericks, and so did my son, at a small dealer and all are scheduled/in production at this time.
I think if you are at a bigger dealer and you get Priority 10, your chances are much greater than a small dealer. Small dealers tend to have limited allocations, so even with Priority 10, you might not get built..

Yes, small dealers tend to have limited allocations AND limited orders. And a pc10 means nothing unless the other orders at that dealer are 11-19.

There were around ten thousand my22 order holders who did not get a truck, do you think those were mostly at large or small dealers? (Hint, how many Long MacArthur orders did not get built?)

And again, if you want to put stock in anecdotes, our family has 4 out of 4 scheduled (3 of them hybrids) from a tiny dealer that only has 5-6 allocations for the entire year.
My dealer has one allocation a month. Not expecting to get built

forgot what the dates mean on the window sticker? 12 13 22. ? I think that is when the window sticker is produced, correct? My build is 384/2204. Anyone after 384 built already?

The 12/13 date is when the window sticker was created for you vehicle.

At this time the vehicle order has been sent to the plant and they will start allocating the required parts to assemble your vehicle.

Also at this time is when an invoice is created so Ford can bill the dealer for the price of the vehicle.

I just contacted ford via chat, 3 times, and 3 different answers. I guess if a person is working an entry level chat support job on Xmas Eve, not too much should be expected of them. I love how they are often like “hi my name is so and so how can I YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOUR DEALER!”

Anyways, 3rd chat told me my truck is in trim, so, that’s not bad news. :)
Hey! That's awesome! I'm glad that both of our trucks actually exist. Maybe we'll get a Christmas present tomorrow of our trucks built today ;)

I had the same response for the last week when I tried to get some answers as to why my Mav wasn't getting built. When I asked what status the truck was in they would say the same generic response of "BUILD DATE IS TBA...YOUR DEALER WOULD HAVE MORE INFORMATION" blah blah

The agent I talked to last, that gave me the information regarding the trim level status, was the only one that gave me new information that wasn't a copy-paste response

I'm 719/2204 and don't have any modules populated yet either. VIN ending 09721

See, now I'm assuming that they're just pulling out numbers from a hat and just building them. I noticed that the three of us have the same last number. So for me it was 372/2204, yours is 719/2204. I think that those with the number xxx/2204 are either in the trim stage or are not being built currently. Not sure why. Like I said, it's like a luck of the draw

The 2204 is the total for the week. But the numerator (372 in your case) is not necessarily the order in which they finish.
Ahhh gotcha, so it is pretty much random. I guess those that are remaining will be finished this next week when the plant reopens
