As long as you don't cut a hole in the hood to add a shaker scoop (although that would be pretty cool), I don't think a future buyer would know or care. Really. Unless you go full crazy on us. I'd have fun and not worry about it.
Every time I see someone putting a scoop on now, I think of this comment. Lol

I’ve been looking at some ideas of doing vintage looking wheels or maybe white.
Like baby moons or dog dish hubcaps on steelies? I’ve seen the steelies painted like a carbonized grey and it looks great.

That carbonized grey does look good. I like dog dish and some of the vintage center caps too, lug covers. I actually like my stock rims better for a vintage look. Most rims look very modern. Very nice but modern. Like the crazy brand new ones I have sitting in my garage for my car that got totaled out by insurance over the engine. Ugh

The dealer put a coating on mine. I’m in Florida so that will help underneath, not having winters. I agree with trying to make it last long. It’s funny, just today I was thinking about the speakers. They definitely need to be upgraded. I’ll look at Kilmat.
I ordered my speakers from Crutchfield, the door speakers are certainly Dixie cup specials. If you want to attack one at a time, start there. The Kilmat makes road noise go from DUNK DUNK to dink dink.
