Got rear ended last Sunday. 2024 XL. It took the hit quite well and we were all okay. Guy that hit me had to have his F150 taken on a flatbed. I was still able to drive. His insurance is paying everything and a rental. So my Lil Mav is at the dealership waiting for parts. Ugh. I would’ve thought...
I’m going to say number 8, steel city fleet truck look. Only because I have them. lol. Yep! They look the worst. But……. I don’t worry about scratching them and they are tough. Plus they clean up perfectly even in the auto car wash.
Yea funny thing is that his insurance came back with a preliminary estimate that is can all be fixed for $10k. They the rail can be replaced. I doubt that. I’ll see what the shop says in Monday.
This one stays surprisingly dry through an automatic car wash. So far. I’m sure it’ll change as it gets older. It still lets in a little bit of water but it’s good enough that I know I can haul something in the rain and keep it dry.
I don’t know where my thread is, lol, but I posted my Rough Country cover. I think it was $260. Folds in third. It works great. Easy to take all the way off if need be.
We’re going on a little trip so I HAD TO HAVE a tonneau cover. Of course. I bought this from Rough Country and it fits well. Goes in easy. Folds back in thirds and straps open if need be. With tax $246.05
