You're correct. I should have used MSRP through the entire post. I know the difference, just got sloppy. Usually when people say they got something at "invoice" price, they actually mean sticker price/MSRP. That's what I was talking about. If a dealer is selling for less than invoice, he won't be in business long!
Not really true. There are tons of dealers that sell things like Jeeps wranglers for well below invoice on orders…like 4-6% below.
there is other money that they get from the manufacturer and deal in high volume.

I was thinking about ordering a wrangler instead of a Mav, but I wanted to be around 30k instead of 40-43k for a vehicle. Plus a bed is more versatile for me….and I don’t need really need wrangler off-road ability

Has anyone who ordered on Sept. 17th been scheduled? Looks like those that ordered on the first day (i.e. the 16th) are getting scheduled.
Yup. I got scheduled yesterday and ordered on 9/17.

Same here. I paid cash for the one I got earlier this year and will be paying cash for the one I get this winter. I hate debt and really hate paying interest.
I would have considered doing a 36mo loan, if the rates were what they were early this year. My credit union had a 0.99% APR for 24/36 months. Basically free money. 🤣 Now they are closer to 5%

Yes, ordered 9/17 and I'm scheduled for 11/28/22. New order.

Never received any email from Ford, had to confirm via Customer Service today. Now I have my VIN.
My order is an XLT Hybrid with hitch, rear window, full-size spare, Alto Blue.

I just got the email from Ford. 45 days in. We are sorry...

I'm going to sit in my corner and sulk.

Received my "No Maverick for You" email today . This sounds like a Maverick death sentence. Ordered 9/20. XLT, Hybrid, HPR, Hitch Receiver, 120 V outlet, CP360, BAP . . . Priority 10. Happy I have a back up XL in the garage.

Am I wrong in assuming they wont be scheduling this coming Thursday and Friday? It would be for the week in between Christmas and new years if I am looking at it right.

Respectfully, you seem to be equating msrp and invoice price. Those are different numbers.
When we used to buy cars back in the day, we never payed msrp. It was always less if they wanted to make money they had to do it off of the trade in.

And does that have something to do with my comment?
