I was genuinely thinking the same thing. How was a hybrid order placed?

My dealer just informed me today that all Canadian orders are balanced out and the 2022 model year is done. So I guess my XLT was not "ordered". I guess I'm waiting on the 2023, like so many others.

Build date was Feb 21, then moved out to Mar 28, and then moved back up to Mar 14. Hoping to see it soon!

Well finally heard from ford yesterday ordered my 2022 maverick oct 8 21. Will be in production April 18, they sent me vin and track info to watch everything. And yes spray in bed liner on xlt but no one can tell me how long to build, and deliver I’m just happy it’s really going to happen

I called my dealership at the end of January to see what was going on, sales guy said he'd reach out to his contact at Ford since he thought it was strange I didnt have a VIN yet, and on 2/3 I got the VIN and scheduling email. Not sure if it was just coincidence or if he actually helped get it bumped

Ordered a hybrid, XLT Lux, CP360, Velocity Blue on 10/12/2021. Email with 04/18/22 build date arrived 02/17/22. (Cue the happy dance music!) Info added on tracker.

Couple of observations:
Under Packages on the description it lists the 300A and FCP360 but doesn't mention the Luxury package. However, under Accessories it includes the 8-way power driver's seat, the bed locking rails, hitch receiver, and bedliner - Spray-in which are included in the Luxury package. Is this the normal way to show the Luxury package on these notices? Has anyone else received this format in their email?

And when I clicked the 'bedliner - spray-in' link it brought up a picture labeled 'Drop-in Bedliner'. So, I'm wondering which one will actually be on the truck? Either is acceptable but it would be nice to know what to expect.

Ours should be together on the assembly line! Did you get the Lux package? If so, was it listed under the Packages tab? Click the bedliner link and see if it brings up the Drop-in instead.

Received word two days ago via email that our truck was built. Just got an update that it shipped this morning and should be to our East TN dealership in later March. We ordered a Silver Maverick with the hybrid engine and the luxury package in later June. Best wishes to everyone on the waiting list.

Agreed, my window sticker and option listing on the tracker still says spray in but when you hover over the spray in words under accessories it says drop in. Yikes.
