Thank you, LASFIT, for not only hosting this trip down memory lane, but also for choosing me as one of the winners. Frankly, I thought there were many more stories more deserving than mine, but I'm not going to argue. My take away from this was much less about the prize (more about that later) and much more about reading the father/son experiences that left such a pivotal memory on our members. I feel as though I have a better connection because of it.
My prize was LASFIT's portable cordless air compressor and they asked for my feedback on the unit. It's impressive. It packs a lot of power for such a compact unit and the cordless feature makes it easy to use anywhere, anytime. It has separate settings depending on the task; bicycle tire, motorcycle tire, auto tire, and the more common sport ball setting, so there's little chance of over inflation. With summer upon us and all the inflatable toys that come with it, the LASFIT cordless air compressor will be getting much use.

Luckily these same bulbs also work as a replacement in my Chevy Silverado bed's cargo lights.

Update on LASFIT's portable tire inflator:
Came out this morning to find a flat tire on our Hyundai Palisade, so here was an opportunity to see what this gadget will do real world. Hookup was simple. One end of air hose bayoneted to the unit, other end screwed securely on the tire valve stem. Selected the 'automobile tire setting' (35psi) and turned it on. Tire went from 0.0psi to 35psi in 5 minutes and turned itself off automatically. Impressive!
To be clear, I'm not trying to merchandise this product. This post is only meant to educate members about the quality and performance of the unit. I have no connection to LASFIT. This would be money well spent.

For my prize I requested an exchange of the lights for a discount on the inflator. It works well...maybe too well. My daughter claimed it and took along back to her apartment in Milwaukee. Actually she is the reason why I requested the substitution. She doesn't have easy access to an air compressor. Perfect size for apartment living. Thank you LASFIT.

Recently, I was fortunate to win a prize in LasFit’s Father’s Day contest/giveaway. My prize package included two pair of their new T3 LED bulbs for the rear turn signal and brake lights (4257R), LEDs for the backup lights (WT21W), and additional bulbs to better illuminate the license plate (T10). I was excited to add these LasFit products to the front turn indicator switchback LEDs I previously installed in my XLT. Installation of the taillight units only required removing the two screws securing the unit to the truck body. Exchanging the LEDS with the OEM bulbs is simply a plug and play procedure. The difference in brightness is amazing. My attached video and photo don’t do them justice. I don’t see how anybody trailing my truck can help but understand my intent to stop or turn. That leaves only my third brake light to switch over. Thanks LasFit for giving me reason to recall some buried fond memories and for the welcomed additions to my build.
