Look, New Year's Resolutions are pretty divisive. Some people live for them. Some people hate them. And some people use them as an excuse to put off trying again for a whole new year.

As for us, we think every day can be a fresh start.

What about y'all? Got any goals? Any resolutions? Any reservations about resolutions?

I set mine pretty low. I’m going to continue converting my wardrobe to all black. PJs and activewear this year!

My new years resolution in 2004 was to never make another new years resolution, I've had great success with this ever since.

If I do set any goals/resolutions, they are monthly. The past few years have been a mix of monthly goals and "focus words". The focus word can be whatever, it's like the "theme" for the year. Resilience, patience, laugh, move, play, build, whatever tickles your fancy.

No resolutions, just something to be disappointed in myself for not following through. Not that I care as I'm retired.

That's very understandable, you're retired. This is time time to sit back and relax, not stress over what new thing to do this year.

This is the way to do it! Think ours should be "Sell"

Now that is an attainable goal. Think we might need to follow your lead.

Not gonna lie, that's a pretty cool goal. (this is just the intern speaking, but I too am working on incorporating more black in my wardrobe)

Thanks! All black is just easier all around.

Hmm. I've only ever kept one resolution - to make no more resolutions.

That said, I'm retired, and my wardrobe seems to be migrating towards black pants and red shirts. Don't know why, but my closet certainly reflects that trend...

Nothing wrong with that, sounds like a classic look.
