Yes, it looks great on the pillars, i been using this same vivid vinyl wrap for few of my cars its stay for a long time 2-4yrs and is inexpensive quality wrap ( if you know how to use it ) my advice who ever gonna do this for the first time, be patient and take your time. It took me 1hr for each big pillars to wrap it.

I put it on my 4Runner pillars. I'll have to redo them soon because I didn't use a higher grade vinyl.. Thanks

Okay, your work looks great, but when did this “carbon fiber looks like” become a thing. It’s just my opinion, but doesn’t this rate right up there with “Hemi” stickers on a Nero? I just don’t get the fake stuff.

Hi Mervin, i don’t quite understand your message here. All I did is post a thread that many of maverick owners does the same thing, shared all they’re DiY mods. Anyone that have mavs can post here. We are mavs community sharing here

I did the interior of my 2023 lariat with the Carbon Fiber overlays , I like the look.
I didn't know there was more options for the mav . I will definitly check them out.

I’m not arguing your modification. It looks great, but why the fake carbon fiber is what I am asking. If you like the look, that’s great. I simply don’t care for a fake look. That’s me - Not you, and not everyone else. I don’t mean to say it’s “wrong”, it’s just that stickers are not for me.

I'd like to try this but I have ZERO experience. If you're doing a video be sure to share it on MTC; maybe once I see how it's done, I can screw up the courage to try it myself.

Ok got it. But at the moment there is no way we can have a real carbon fiber for this stuff the only thing we can do is to vinyl wrap it or buy fake plastic carbon fiber and many cars is done like this even full body wrap. Even though if the real carbon fiber came out for this mods or manufacturer do it for us . The price like be extra 2k-3k on top of the sticker price. It is still every one choice which they prefer to do with they’re own cars,trucks or any automobile. Thanks for your comment.
