What is that perma plate you mentioned? Never heard of it, but sounds like that’s the issue. I put turtle wax seal n shine followed by spray wax on my plastics and paint and they look fine. You can use those products on rubber and plastic.

It’s heavy and won’t fly away, but also very movable if you need to throw it in the garage for some reason. And I cut it with about 1/4” gap on all sides. That will let water drain in the way the OEM bed drainage was designed. I have a tonneau coming, so I guess water won’t be an issue for long.

Wheels are on. The tech couldn’t fit the stock tpms sensors on because the thickness of the Borbet’s was more than the steelies, so I have a TPMS light on all the time. I’m just going to live with it until I need new tires and I’ll install new sensors.

At $153 a wheel, I think these are certainly better than my steelies. What wheel would you go for on that price range? My goal was to try and match the XLT wheel as close as possible. I can’t find any take-offs around NJ and buying from Ford would be bananas.

I don’t have those either. After hearing all this, I must have gotten a standard base XL that happened to marked fleet. Happy to hear nothing strange is on the car… except for my ford pass app and connectivity settings needing a reflash to get out of “fleet” mode.
