For anyone else trying to size these guys. The panel hole is nominally 7.2 mm diameter 0.9 mm thick, the slotted plastic trim is 1 mm thick and the OEM rivet is 6.8 mm diameter before pushing and expanding the core.
Anything sized for a 7 mm hole should work.
You can also just shift into park which makes the surging stop right away. I’ll occasionally do that if it’s very annoying and I have a long light.
Edit: and neutral works too
I believe that the blue bar shows how much power you are asking for using the "gas" pedal.
And while the size of the white box is affected by the charge of the battery, I believe it also include many other factors that will also limit your electric power.
I think the biggest one is probably...
There is now ay to see the the amount of charge in the battery as far as I'm aware. The blue bar on the screen is your throttle response. Basically it's how much power you are demanding from the engine. When it goes negative, you are regenerating power and the screen reads "charging"
The empty...
Put the screen into EV coach and it shows you how much throttle you have available before the engine kicks in. You have to be extremely light to keep it electric.
And when the battery gets low enough the engine kicks in regardless.

With fall here, it's a good time to check out your leaf collection points, right behind the lower hinges of your front doors. This is where much of the gunk that comes off your windshield eventually winds up. The rest of it gets spit forward into the engine bay. You can clean the hinge spot out...
1 ratchet strap from canoe to the horizontal and 1 ratchet strap over canoe to the tie downs, and one ratchet strap over the roof through the front doorframe.
That’s a fair take for you, but plenty of other Maverick owners will have the printer and the materials. It’s become pretty commonplace in the last 5 years.
I wouldn’t even call 3D printing a full-blown hobby anymore. These day’s It’s just another tool that people put in their garage
Check your acorn collection points behind the front wheels. You can see it by looking past the lower hinges with the front door open. That's where almost everything that hits your windshield eventually winds up.
I 3D printed myself some baskets that fit behind the rubber dams to do the same job. Hopefully I don’t have to clean them out more than once a year.
I doubt the leaves really hurt anything but I just like keeping a tidy engine bay and the gunk behind the hinges annoys me because I see it every...
I just switch my screen to the speedometer mode.
But now it bugs me that the number isn’t centered on the vanishing “speed lines”. It’s down and to the left of the vanishing point. Ford definitely doesn’t have any user interface designers on staff.
