Which brings up the question . If your vehicle is out waiting for parts Do they HAVE to provide a loaner? Or is at their discretion? I myself would be screwed if I lost my vehicle for weeks/ months.
There is another post about his cat converter being stolen on train. So this is a second poster same issue. If it is only 2 days not bad. I wonder if they weld the new one in?
A 2021, EB order not filled by now?? That seems impossible . Something is wrong. To bad you didn't order in sept 2022 for a 2023 from ANOTHER dealer . To late now. I saw the preliminary look over in Hawaii on the nrw tacoma. Looks cool. To much money for me but if you have it get it.
NOT saying it will stop anyone. BUT there are plenty of cars that DONT have any added protection and they choose those instead. I have no proof but either do you.
The plates do in fact help. They see them and choose another vehicle that has none. Most insurance covers them but you often times wait a long time get get the part then an appointment to get it installed. So YES the plates are worth it. My buddy waited over a week for his part then another to...
Oh crap another thing to worry about. On the converters themselves. I read that they are not sold in the usa after stolen BUT put into large trailer put on a ship overseas than the metal is taken out of them for $$. in any case Oh crap I hope this doesn't happen to me or others. Sniper on train...
You had the email telling you the build date. Then you contacted the dealer and they added a sibl? Are you sure? I thought after build date nothing can change?
I wont go fro drop in because of possible rust. If you plan to put some kind of water resistant cover (tri fold) maybe okay. I have seen youtube videos of some guys pulling it out after a decade no rust others rusted like crazy. Same for comments here. I never had any rust then another poster...
It works best at slower speeds. The crash test people have results on some testing. They were just following way to close. In heavy traffic in video hard not too. Good move by Mav drive as he would of took it in the nose and rear.
A few comments. Lets start with competition / The now shown Tacoma is a 2024 model,. Its NOT a 2023 . So WHY would anyone think toyota would have a new 2024 small truck if it were NOT announce or at the very least real leaked info? They wouldn't. So if Toyota has something it won't be until...
Thanks for the info. I am considering one as long as the 10 percent off last when i get my Mav most likely end of july or august. I wont buy before because of some unseen event I dont get one.
Is it a pain since you have to unlock i believe two locks, one on each side to open? I assume you don't have to lock it? Can you open and close the rear gate with the slider closed?
