I see hybrid so ,, The rear ending could be the regen braking in Eco mode as my mav slows down pretty fast without touching the brake pedal. So no brake lights. If in heavy traffic I always make sure if I have a tailgater I touch the brake pedal even if I don't need to to get brake lights on...
While I never got involved with getting insurance policy my Church did it when they had a raffle for a car. Its not like a small church can afford to give away a car. Get insurance and make odds super high and if by a miracle a person wins insurance pays for car. I am sure PCH does it for all...
PCH is a con. What they do is like when say a church has a raffle for a car. They have a trillion numbers it could be from. You get a number. So technically not lying they could have a winner but the odds are soooo high its nearly impossible to ever have a winner. They buy a for a few hundred...
Bringing up an older thread.
I am finally at the point of ordering this setup. BUT it seems like the corner gussets are SUPER pricey. Is that 24.08 a piece for each gusset is that correct?? That would mean the gussets will cost 12 x 24.08= 288.96 for just gussets ?? Is this correct?
Gussets...
As far as ziebart goes maybe it has changed BUT back in 2008 when I had it done each year you HAD to spray it again in order to keep warranty. About a 100 each year. No idea if that is still required. Plus many say traps water under it.
I had Krowns done on my Mav. 170 total with tax I think...
Thats the thing. if you use any of the battery lookup tools it never as far as I can find offer a AGM battery. If i ever do decide to get a new battery I have not found a way to look up an AGM type for hybrid Mav. . I guess tape measure and go to a store that has many in stock?
2023 xlt hybrid.
My voltages are almost the exact same as yours. EXCEPT after charging now a little higher when engine off maybe 12.4 to 12.8 volts My lighter port turns off after you shut the engine off and OPEN the driver door. But don't open door stays on, how long no idea.
About a month...
Clean oil sitting sure no issues. Dirty oil sitting I highly disagree. Plus low mileage drivers forget condensation that never gets burned off either.
Hey don't change your oil I don't care. Plenty of evidence on youtube of engine tear downs of that not being a good choice. The choice is...
Sure its is part of power train BUT its also part of the hybrid system too. Not sure how it would be classified? I would argue its part of the 8 year 100k hybrid warranty
I would guess the motors inside the trans are covered under the 8 year 100K mile warranty as that is part of hybrid system . If they fail my guess a whole new transmission would be the fix. No idea what that cost R&R the engine trans combo plus the part.
What do you plan to use in the summer? I also have BLIZZAK WS90 on another set of wheels. BUT still have OEM tires and wheels for summer use. I figured the OEM tires would suck so changed them out before winter.
Winter time has been the big effect for me. I have only had my 23 since Mid August 2023 and up till it got snow cold I was it the 40 ish range. Now in winter its down into the 32 to 35 mpg range .
For those that feel its not needed I guess it depends on WHERE you live. Live in a warm place no snow and don't go off road in the mud you would be fine. Live in the NE with snow and salt you crazy not to. I can see the tail light from under neath. That taillight will get coated with salt. Not...
