  1. Ford Needs to Give the Ford Maverick XLT the Adaptive Cruise Control

They do a great job of keeping my backside from sweating. The Lariat has the faux leather upholstery which is much less porous than the cloth seats in the XL/XLT. Three speeds, easy to put on and easy to remove when the weather cools down. Ran the USB cable from the rear USB ports, so less cord...
  2. Maxzina new release coming! Cargo bar, bed divider molle panel, bed extender, tail light cover, seat back molle panel

Neat stuff! Thanks for supporting the Maverick with thoughtful and useful accessories. Am I the only one who likes the tail light covers?
  3. 2022 to 2025 Maverick. Thoughts/comparisons..

Love the red! Thanks for posting the comparison. Many will find it helpful.
  4. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

You're very welcome! Glad to be of help. Life will be better without the annoying deep sleep issues.
  5. Ford Needs to Give the Ford Maverick XLT the Adaptive Cruise Control

Thank you for clarifying! I've been having this concern for the better part of a year and if my memory serves me correctly, you're the first to have an answer. Thank you!
  6. Second Maverick to Lose Power on Freeway

This is very unfortunate and I definitely understand why you would prefer safety over any mileage advantages. I would say the odds of having one owner with two Mavericks failing power is pretty high.
  7. Ford Needs to Give the Ford Maverick XLT the Adaptive Cruise Control

I have a couple of beefs with ACC. First, I dislike the sudden and rapid slowdown if a vehicle enters the zone. It's not gradual as it is if I were braking and it feels like I have no control. Secondly, what about the cars behind me? Do my brake lights come on, or am I suddenly throwing a big...
  8. Ford Needs to Give the Ford Maverick XLT the Adaptive Cruise Control

I broke down and put air circulation seat covers in my Lariat. Run off USB and keep me cool and dry. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DXPBL6MG?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2
  9. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

While I agree with you in principle, it can be a burden on your time and patience to get a dealer to agree to do this within a reasonable time. Choose your battles as they say and so it's worth considering buying the battery and do it yourself install. Not at all difficult.
  10. Help Test New Release Demand---Roof Rear Guard

My tonneau cover has built in pads that protect the cab back. I'm surprised yours doesn't have that feature.
  11. Deleted

I would say most of us are more concerned about how well the Maverick hybrid can accelerate onto a freeway, pass a semi, or power out of a dangerous situation than the numbers . . . although, I'm grateful for knowing those stats are pretty good for a 191 hp truck. Faced with the situations I...
  12. Help Test New Release Demand---Roof Rear Guard

No doubt this could be very useful for those who routinely carry ladders or lumber. Much better for this purpose than a spoiler. I appreciate your support for the Maverick.
  13. Hybrid Transmission Design

Thanks for posting that which may be considered "old" information for newer members who had the same questions about the transmission on the hybrid.
  14. LED replacement Lights for 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid Lariat

Replacing the 3rd brake light with an LED has not had a problem with hyperflashing because it doesn't blink on/off as would a turn signal lamp. I have the strobe style in my 3rd brake light and appreciate the extra warning it gives to traffic. First saw the concept on a Subaru (OEM, I think) and...
  15. LED replacement Lights for 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid Lariat

Good luck with these. I know from experience that do work for a short period of time and then they will just stop working. Maybe a certain lot was manufactured slightly differently and yours will be fine. Please get back to us in a couple weeks as this has been a re-accruing issue for the...
  16. LED replacement Lights for 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid Lariat

There's at least a dozen threads on the LED hyperflash problem and you can search those if you need more than my two cents. There aren't any LED's brake lamps available that have built-in resistance. LasFit promoted and sold what they called their solution, but they only worked for a short time...
  17. Maxzina hood insulation dented the hood - Beware!

Thanks for the warning. Sorry you had to pioneer this problem.
  18. Mabett Smoked LED Tail Lights Are Here!

    Maybe there's an adapter available.
  19. Mabett Smoked LED Tail Lights Are Here!

I'm on your side of this. I'm of the opinion that the OEM's are large enough and bright enough to be highly visible. I was also disappointed with Lasfit's LED replacement lamps and would have thought their quality control would have done a better job of ensuring their product worked out the door.
