That is correct.
You can download a trial version of Forscan (fully functioning) and purchase a $40 cable to use it. It's literally some dropdown menus to disable the hyperflash. You can also make some other changes if you want. There are tutorials and YouTube videos and plenty of threads on...
At least part of the problem with LEDs is heat. If you build a resistor into the bulb, it's going to get very hot and likely shorten it's life ie. Lasfit. Best bet is using Forscan to disable the outage and then just pick whichever bulbs you want. I like Diode Dynamics.
Admittedly not a lawyer, but I don't think you get very far with "a guy at the dealer said this" vs. the signed contract and full documentation that shows you got exactly what you paid for. Even if you could somehow prove what some guy said -- he misspoke or made a mistake or whatever...but you...
You're not going to get a ticket for window tint in another state, any more than you would for driving through a 2-plate state when you are registered in a 1-plate state.
Unfounded worries.
Your lawyer didn't say anything like that because the first question would be, what loss did you suffer? When your documentation says you got exactly what you paid for, nobody charged you for features that you didn't get, it ends right there. You're lucky the dealership was willing to work with...
Ford Accessories is a nightmare. I fought and fought with them over an order I returned and had tracking for and never got resolution from them. Talked to so many reps and supervisors and had numerous case numbers but in the end it didn't matter, nobody "could" do anything, it always had to go...
It's really pretty easy- I'd put it on the same level as setting up an account here, logging in, and posting. Once you install the software, it's literally 2-3 clicks to connect and get to the right module, then just drop-down menus to turn off the outage notification. It really is a much better...
Honestly, you're making this much harder than it needs to be. Install whatever bulbs you want without any resistors or extra things to fail and/or ruin your wiring, and just disable to bulb outage with Forscan. It's easy, probably cheaper than resistors ($40), and is completely reversible -- all...
I think your idea for movable is good, but I feel like I would rather have them mounted low. Mounted high like they are, they are really only suitable for loads that are taller than they are mounted, where if they were mounted low you could use them on any load. I feel like that would be a more...
I'd bet they were counterfeit. Lots of them out there. It's unfortunate but happens. My own have 6k miles and months on them so far without skipping a beat.
I edited my post earlier, at the same time you were replying I think, to include info on the Schrader sensor I recommend. Schrader is the OEM for Ford and the EZ Sensor is programmable so it can do 315 or 433 -- and it's less than half the price.
I believe Ford changed from 315Mhz to 433Mhz. I had seen where it was supposed to happen sometime in the '24 model year but haven't heard of it actually happening. Sounds like it did for '25.
If you want to buy new sensors, I'd recommend the Schrader EZ Sensor. They are programmable for 315 or...
The LV fluid meets LV spec and ULV meets ULV spec. For a period of time Amsoil recommended their LV fluid for at least some ULV applications, based on their testing. I ran it for 10k miles and didn't notice anything off. But now they have a ULV spec fluid that they recommend instead, which I...
You asked if it has a certification, so yes it is exactly about paying (or not) for a certification. Amsoil develops products that meet or exceed specs, but does not pay for certifications. All of the data is out there for the public to see, no hiding anything.
Wondering what the brakes on the Lobo look like and if they would transfer to other models.
But if yours will fit behind 17" wheels it may have an advantage.
Just FYI -- the points stay good as long as you use some or add to them within a year I believe. They also can be used on parts, service, extended warranty, etc.
I definitely don't think anyone is going to offer you anything without asking, and I'm not even sure asking will get you anything -- but it never hurts.
I am a little confused though about you making your first payment. I would think that indicates that you have purchased the vehicle and it is...
