I'm surprised to see this. I have my seat all the way up and it sits vertical like a dining table chair. Any higher and I'd be too close to the headliner if I'm wearing a hat. I'm 5'10"
In Wisconsin farm use didn't require a license when I was growing up. I did get a license at 16 even though I had been driving tractors for about 8 years prior. Rule on our farm was you just had to weight enough to get the clutch down.
I've noticed it as well. I'm 5'10" and like an upright driving position. Learned to drive on farm tractors where there is no seat adjustment. Summer is brief up here, so 90% of the time I'm wearing jeans and it's not an issue.
There is no harm in running higher pressure up to the maximum the tire is rated for. Most tires are rated for at least 40psi. The ride may be a bit firmer. I run all my vehicles slightly higher than the recommended pressure.
Convince her to go with the Bronco Sport. Lots of interchangeable parts with Grampa's Maverick.
Also if great grandbabies are somewhere in the future, she will be thankful for 4-doors.
Best value was a fully loaded AWD 2004 Pontiac Vibe. Lemon buyback vehicle that came through auction. 2K miles paid 30% under MSRP full factory warranty included. 100K+ miles later still going strong.
It's an early hybrid prototype. Dual wings on the back. A tailwind on those sails adds at...
Combination of both low supply and low demand. The F-series production is still approximately 6x Maverick numbers even with the ramped up Maverick production in the last year.
Dealers stock what sells and they prefer to make lots of money. No-brainer to stock tons of high end F-150s in the...
I've done similar repairs to other vehicles and recommend auto/marine silicone. It flexes with temperature changes. I'm not sure epoxy will do the same.

A repair I did 10 years ago is still holding strong...
For the longest time, this was the only "metric" wrench in the toolbox. Also the go to wrench for those 1800's square head bolts that pre-dated either system. ;)
Not just a Maverick issue. Currently no mandate in US for stop lamps (legal term for brake lights) to activate during regenerative braking.

Slowing aggressively without brake lights sounds like a good way to get rear ended. Lots of posts about the Maverick tendency to get rear ended. Curious if "L" might be a factor.
