Oh I very much agree, Ford has totally dropped the ball regarding the ability to produce quantity of these vehicles. Companies like Ford in the past were far more vertically aligned from start to finish than they are today. Companies like Ford in the past were manufacturers, today they're more...
Back in the early days of this Maverick board there were pontificating know it alls who said "oh this vehicle will never be used in fleets it doesn't have what businesses need for their fleet vehicles" ... Not enough payload, not big enough... blah blah blah blah blah.... I strongly disagreed...
Mine arrived at the dealer on the 4th (9 months to the day of when I ordered it) picked it up on the 7th. There were 14 I could not care less about miles on the Odometer. Have not checked hours and I probably won't. Were the miles put on at the dealer or at the factory? I don't care...

I don't think they squandered, I think Ford chose wisely. I like the name Maverick and I say that having owned a Maverick car back in the seventies. I also owned an F100 at one point in my life as well and I still have a 98 Ranger. I think Ranger II would have been a disaster, Bronco II...
It would do that to me on occasion and also at times it would not populate the order number and VIN number. All I would do is hit refresh a couple times and then finally it would do its thing and it'd be fine.
The email you get from Ford giving you a production week, it will have a link/button to the tracker. The order number and the VIN number should automatically populate. The tracker will not work unless you have a VIN number. You will not get a VIN number until Ford schedules your build and gives...
For me, it showed up on the tracker. So back in March 11th, I received my last email regarding production weeks moving it to April 4th. I had a total of four changes in production weeks, starting with the original email on January 6th. After that email I received three other emails moving the...
Not "in production" no more. Although it showed up as in production last week the 28th my latest and greatest email said it would go into production April 4th but none of that matters anymore.... Because....
Well, your kind words to Ford's ears.... it seemed to have worked... (Friday 4-9-22)... The time stamp on the email is 0144 hrs .... I get an email from Ford that my Maverick has been built and should be at my dealer between April 20-26.
The amusing part regarding the delivery is, it will...
Long story short.....

Got my first build date of March 14 on Jan 6th. (Was about to throw in the towel)
New build date of March 28th a week later.

New build date of April 4th.
As of March 28, shows " In Production"...
For the people who have received their Maverick.... what were the number of days between build, shipped and received at dealer?
I've seen posts stating folks having their Mavericks sitting in Mexico for 120 plus days after build before being shipped. What was your reality of days between build...
I agree with you that many dealers doing the vin etching it is non-negotiable, and it's just not Vin etching it's other crap too. However, I see a difference between a vehicle that they (the dealer) ordered in and floored to have in stock vs a vehicle I order directly from the factory. If they...
