If you or anyone else is stressing a $500 down payment, neither you or them have any business buying a new vehicle, you/they can't afford it. Btw, the dealer I worked with did not require a down payment.
AND...At this point of thread you're starting to feel like a troll.
Same here. 33-35 mpg rock solid all day long 75-80 mph on Freeway. 45 mile comute each way, 40 of such on freeway. When more in town stop and go occurs, mileage is over 40.
OP, get your wife the hybrid my wife loves hers. Once we got the Maverick she got rid of her 2018 Lexus RX 350...
For those who have taken delivery and are now living with Cyber Orange Mavericks....
Any comments, feedback? Are you loving your choice?
Going to get a second Maverick, yes it will be a Hybrid, or hopefully a PHEV if those come about in 2023/24.. I almost got the Cyber Orange the first go...
Kicking around getting a second Maverick Hybrid.... Ok, not just kicking.. we will. Only holdup is.. the possible PHEV version. May wait for that.. will see what 2023 holds... But the reason for the post is... The Cyber orange really caught my eye but the wife wanted the Cactus Gray... So...
1) Baking a cake in its most basic form takes 5 or 6 ingredients. Even a very fancy cake takes less than 15 ingredients. A typical vehicle takes many many thousand "ingredients" most far more complicated than anything in a cake.
2) With COVID, War, other world events, even cake ingredients are...
I agree and that is why I reconsidered wanting a pure EV Maverick versus a phev Maverick. Completely charmed by our hybrid Maverick. If Ford comes out with a phev Maverick we damn sure will get a second Maverick. I do agree a bigger battery would really be nice, overall I've become a hybrid...
I've said it many times on this site I love love our Maverick hybrid... I've been blessed with driving owning cool cars my entire life and continue to do so... yet I'm just absolutely charmed by the hybrid Maverick. Wife and I will both grab the Maverick first... We are to the point we're are...
LOL... I know there's all kinds of smart ass things I can say to that... But seriously, ventilated cooled seats are quite comfortable... around town day-to-day driving overheated butt syndrome has not been much an issue due to the type of trips thus far. We are about to do our first Maverick...
For me I knew it would be a hybrid. In fact, had the Maverick not come in a hybrid I would not have purchased one. The only question I had was did I want the XLT Lux or Lariat Lux. There are several stories out there that suggest a lux XLT is the sweet spot. That said, I still went with a...
Nope. Love love love our Lariat Lux Hybrid. No issues yet and if any do pop up, such will be dealt with.
As a side note I don't freak out. Freaking out is never effective or productive.
I am a Texan, and I understand Texas heat is just lukewarm compared to the heat of Southern Arizona! This time of year we consider 100° a cooling trend. Last week it got down to the mid-90s for a couple of days and I was thankful I had the heated seats and steering wheel, I thought I was going...
Many oil life indicators just calculate via time and mileage, the oil life remaining really does not speak to the quality of the oil at that point. Some actually use opacity, however I would guess that is not the case on the Maverick, but I don't know.
EVs have instant torque, and in some cases massive instant torque. Sound, fury and rumble are all great, but nothing replaces that feeling of getting slammed back into the seat and held there... I love ICE vehicles.... I have been both lucky and privileged in my life to own and drive many...
