I don't know why this has to be repeated over and over but you are not Ford's customer, the dealerships are their customers. They want to keep their top performing dealerships happy, aka the allocation system.

That's incorrect. Plenty of documentation around 2004 highlighting Ford licensing that technology from Toyota. Toyota used that tech in the 90s on the first gen Prius, way before Ford ever introduced a hybrid.

Those parts come "PTM" from Ford which stands for paint to match. They come primed but not painted so no need to worry about discontinued colors. Just hope your body shop has a good paint guy to match properly.
