My thoughts exactly. While my preferred Alto Blue is no longer available, I like the idea of a '24 with all the updates for not much more money than my '23 order.
Looking forward to that. While my color is no longer available, I prefer the newer ā24 build with the latest production updates. Hopefully Iāll have it by new years because frankly Iām tired of waiting.
I was at a gas station yesterday when a similar sized truck rolled up, power step folds down and this smaller woman climbs out to gas up her truck. $91.00 she complained. I get irritated when I canāt coax 32 mpg out of my Subaru. it takes all types I guess. I just canāt imagine piloting one of...
My (hopefully fulfilled soon) Mav will my first Mexico built vehicle. Iām looking forward to it. I strongly prefer J or K VIN numbers. Iāve had a couple of US built Japanese vehicles and theyāve been ok but not quite the build quality of the Js. Weāll see how it does.
Fully agree. I just had the privilege of a trip to Europe for 2 weeks. About 1/3 of the cars are EVs, and 90% of the rest are hybrids. I was like a kid in a candy shop seeing all the makes and models we donāt have here. My rental was a Cubera (SEAT/VW). For fuel costs and tax purposes, their...
Usually for life unless itās a lemon. I have a brutal habit of not being able to break up with my cars. Thus the Mav will join the stable, but I expect it will be my last new car.
My saleswoman has been underwhelming. She created my 9/2022 order using the 2022 Build sheet. When I caught on (thankfully through this forum) that for 2023 360 and 360 Assist were split out, necessitating an additional option (cheap shot by Ford), she was on leave and another salesperson...
The Houston area Toyota dealers (all 9 of them) are marking up all their inventory. Was interested in a RAV4 Hybrid Limited but Iām not paying $48k for a $39k vehicleā¦.
And a dark blue. My ā23 order is Alto Blue; for ā24 Iām going with Carbonized Gray, although I would have loved the F150ās Denim/Blue Jean blue option. The Atlas blue is just too showy for my tastes but Iāve seen a lot of pictures on this site where people are hugely proud of their Atlas blue...
Not gonna lie - fond (if not rose-tinted) memories of the original Maverick got enough of my attention to even consider a Ford (Iām a J-VIN lover). This will be my first domestic branded car ever.
The original Maverick had great design lines. Of course these days I realize the Nova and Mopars...
Or consider thisā¦.Ford could have kept in the original package and not split 360 & Assist out. Thanks to this site I knew to call my dealer to get Assist added in.
I figured they would have price protection. The statement they made in January was not a definitive NO, just that the issue was going to be revisited. That said, with priority being given the ā23 to ā24 orders (meaning a high probability it will be built this fall) and the fact that I just...
