Just sat with elderly Aunt Judy through the test drive and buying process of a new Nissan Rogue. Here in Texas if there is transit or lot damage, an acknowledgement form must be signed. In her case, the rear bumper was slightly damaged on the ride over from Japan. Their body shop repaired it...
It appears my production constraints are shrinking, which is good. Except the hybrid part, which is whole reason I'm getting the truck. Fingers still crossed....
Understood. So why accept orders you know you canāt fill? Why offer a lower end entry level vehicle if youāre not interested in building it? The malfeasance is on Ford. The domestics vacated the cheap car and family sedan realms (either through desire for greater profitability or sheer inferior...
Looks like a phone company truck. And I say that with fondness- my first car was a ā66 Belvedere I phone company strippo in white. I paid $15 whole dollars and definitely got my moneyās worth as it got me through senior HS summer. Only option was a heater. Iāve always loved base...
Dear Ford - Many thanks for yet another update. And why did you way over-commit on the hybrid? Much love, your continually spurned lover Dave
PS: In Julyā¦. āThank you sir, may I have another?ā
Just got an email from Ford explaining the ongoing hinderances in meeting all orders. They said all ordered EBs should built, but us hybrid folks will hear further details in July.
same that happened to me - kind of goofy/slimey for Ford to accept ā23 orders before the ā23 packages were known. Thanks to this forum I did go back to the dealership in January to have it added, but I forgot about the SIBL (that was included in ā22 Lux package but not ā23). At this point Iām...
In my opinion, Subaru is way behind the curve on a small AWD ātruckā and hybrids. With their close hookup with Toyota, thereās no reason Subaru couldnāt be hybridized across the board. I know they tried small truck with the Baja, but that was a weak, peculiarly styled effort.
I love my 10 year...
Santa Cruzes are starting to stack up in these parts; Iām starting to see some discounting. Funny about the ākeeping eyes on roadā thing⦠my Outback was at the dealer getting a several day repair so they gave me a brand new Ascent for a loaner; a could of times it admonished me to keep my eyes...
I buy cars every 10-11 years. Decided I wanted a hybrid, and the Ford system was a proven one. Always wanted a blue Lariat (haha). This will be my first domestic nameplate. Otherwise Iām itching for a CRV, Sportage or Niro. All hybrids.
