Yea maybe the don’t make much on the hybrids but the EcoBoost? Pretty sure they make plenty. They make money on the escape and bronco sport and those probably cost more to build than the maverick EcoBoost.

Ford is just bs saying they prioritize the unscheduled and scheduled but not built orders from MY22. Too many people who put in brand new orders for MY23 got theirs in 2-3 months. I would never actually try the keys because I have keyless entry. Probably wouldn’t ever try them unless the battery went completely flat.

Just picked my maverick up monday 1/30. Dealer called me around 1:30pm said it just came in on the truck. Finished Inventory, PDI and detailing around 7pm. Finished test driving and signing paperwork around 10.

Never done that with any of my other cars so I’m not that worried.

I feel really bad for everyone still going through this. I literally just picked up my maverick on 1/30 after a year waiting.

Oh ok, yea I am aware. I just wasnt aware of the way ford is doing it. Blind spot having no audible sound and the key not detected actually using the horn and honking twice are so different from my Tesla, Hyundai's, Mazda and Porsche that I was really thrown off.

Did this work? I didnt order the ford OEM lock nuts so I am curious to how this worked out for you.

Im actually confused by your comment. I havent had a ford in a while but I have many other cars and the both the blindspot and key not detected feature works pretty much the same across all of them. The ford is the only manufacturer that does both of these very differently.

If it makes you feel any better The pizza tracker updated for my order yesterday 1/31 saying it was in final prep 1/30 at the dealer. I picked it up 1/30 at night and tracker right now still shows final prep.
