I've added these to almost all of our vehicles over the last few years. SCUBA gear or camping and climbing gear was enough weight to cause an annoying sag on all these vehicles, while still not surpassing their cargo capacity:
2016 VW Sportwagon (and friends too)
2021/22 Prius Prime
2023 Sienna...
I'd ask if I can have the last place for $0
Not likely.
This isn't inventory limited / supply-chain issue times. This is 25% price increase from 2022 model year, plenty of Mavericks on lots - times now.
But if they do find some chump to overpay - good for them - they earned the idiot tax.
If you care about mpg, you get a hybrid.
If you care about costs, you don't get a lariat.
If you want a lariat temor, you get one. Not because of it being high mpg and low price, though.
Is the rear driveshaft turbocharged, or the engine?
I guess the AWD is turbocharged via the engine + turbo.
I think I need a flowchart to correctly map out the badges.
You're welcome to be wrong. That's fine.
It is a waste of time, money, and oil.
Do you change your underwear after every #2? Shower 4x a day? You know if once a day is good, isn't more... better?
Yeah, you are sooo right. /sarcasm
Airbags. Crumple zones. Enhanced crash testing. Mandated rearview cameras. DRLs. And on and on. Those MANDATED REGULATIONS have saved tens of thousands of lives (and prevented many, many injuries).
Remember, driving is a PRIVILEGE, and not a right. Why not...
nah
The bringing up the bumper/paint into the headlight area is done horribly. The triangle/diamond design also looks bad.
2022 looks much better, and especially the grill design detail, in XL trim
This is just like, my opinion, man. But obviously the facts of the photos agree with me ;)
Meh
Pretty sure it's not a widespread issue that has reduced Toyota demand. (I've not heard of it.)
Dieselgate dropped prices on new VWs significantly.
New Toyotas are NOT discounted.
This is/sounds crazy. Like conspiracy level shtuff. Yet there are multiple cases. Why TF would Ford ever do that? Makes zero sense. Glad consumers found the hack/workaround!
I'm not an audiophile and have been happy with factory speakers on cars newer than 2005ish - BUT the XL Mav speakers were horrible and I swapped them out for Focal ACX 165 - they were half off at the time ($70) and come with mounting brackets/etc from Crutchfield.
Now the speakers sound...
