Been driving ~26 years, routinely run all my vehicles to the low fuel light / 0 miles to empty even - never replaced a single fuel pump, with plenty of high mile vehicles.

That is rough. I would start shopping around on rates https://www.navyfederal.org/loans-cards/auto-loans/auto-rates.html#rates and take out a shorter loan. Have you run the numbers on your interest cost? That's like $7k + and ends up adding around 25% to the vehicle cost! Ouch.

Which do you care more about? 1 - mpg and saving gas money 2 - the "look" of wheels and tires? I buy tires for how they work, not look - so I can't help ya out on this decision.
