I would suggest using Tesa (cloth) tape to neatly wrap it. Standard plastic electric tape will eventually melt and leave a gooey black mess. Mine is the same way. I also added an adhesive black pad to the buckle face of the driver's side to prevent scrathing the center console.
I received my Motorcraft OEM wipers yesterday. I haven't installed them yet but the WW2054 blade measures 21" just like the OE blade. I am going to see if it's possible to pop the end cap off the old blade, cut it it with a mini-hacksaw, and pop the cap back on. I don't want to use anything...
10 years!?!?! Do you park your vehicle in a hypobaric chamber lol? I would think a even after 10 years in a garage the rubber would be dry rotted and useless.
Do you have the part# for the passenger blade you received? I actually want a slightly shorter blade so I can drop it a little further into the cowl. Thanks!
If your Maverick is like mine (2024 FX4 XLT) it NEVER even engages 2nd gear. I use Forscan Lite to monitor the gear engaged and I have never been able to get it to engage 2nd. Not in any drive mode, at any speed, under any condition. Not even with L engaged.
Probably doesn’t have anything to do...

Suit yourself. I had to remove the passenger inner sill protectors to run a dash cam wire recently. Some spots the tape had already let go, other spots it took goo gone, 91% alcohol a heat gun and several hours to remove from the trim. The inconsistency is a result of low quality adhesive, I...
It is a real PITA but I suggest removing the low quality adhesive that comes on any Mabett/Maxzina/etc. stick on trim pieces and replacing it with quality 3M VHB tape. It will adhere better and if you ever want to remove it you will be thankful. If you use the tape it comes with and ever need to...
lol!
but also pay the $26 dollars for access to the 72 hour service.ford website. The interactive service manual is awesome. Copy the pages you need for reference.
