I wonder if Ford has their hitches supplied by Reese or Draw-Tite.
Both are on the list.
First Brands Group's "buying spree" was a series of debt-financed acquisitions from 2020 to 2025, aimed at consolidating the auto aftermarket, which led to a massive debt burden and recent bankruptcy protection filing in September 2025. The company acquired major brands like Hopkins Manufacturing, Centric Parts, and Lumileds' lamps business, but its aggressive use of off-balance sheet financing and debt eventually became unsustainable.
