Dang, I thought multiple different problems with unsuccessfully attempts to fix were required to use lemon law. This seems way too easy. One problem with only one attempted and failed fix.
No sir, you said it definitively would void the warrant. Here is what you said….
“No, you just void your warranty. If you have an engine issue you must show the receipts for oil purchases. Why give them an excuse?
I store my receipts in Ford Pass along with the date and mileage of changes.”...
I don’t know, I’ve had a boatload of new cars over the years. Tons of warranty work at various times for various engine related issues. Ford, Hando , Nissan, GM, etc, have NEVER asked for proof of what type of oil was used. Just as long as there was oil. Either this is the OPs first car, or some...
I don’t get the whining. This vehicle has had very few problems so far. Certainly no serious ones. But I guess if you have one of the problems, then Ford must be evil, or somehow worse than other companies at similar price points.. Give it a rest..geesh. Also, the OP doesn’t even mention what is...
FORCE them to do the software update..Geeeshus xmass! It takes less time to do the update than try to replicate the issue..You need to get assertive with them. YOU have reported that the issue exists on your vehicle for which this fix applies. Make them apply it dammit..Who gives a rats ass...
I think its mostly meaningless..Kind of a ohhh and ahhhh thing. The manual doesnt explain it. Others have tried to explain it but you can tell theyre just blowing hot air,,,
interesting. Mine had a serious and consistent issue with the braking, a startling surge and clunk.. The software update after the 1st TSB completely resolved it.. For those that didn’t see good results after the first TSB, I wonder if the service department even got it installed correctly.
