I have an appointment this Friday. The dealer had no idea about this issue but what they lack in knowledge or experience, they make up for in enthusiasm. Theyāve read up on the problem and are excited to get their hands on my truck. Not sure if this is a positive or not.
Thanks for posting
those are 2 very different things. Auto stop has absolutely nothing to do with the brake lunge and clunk issue the software update tries to address. Itās possible there are folks that are confusing the annoying auto stop feature with the very different braking issue.
Will the Ford Pass connection to allow remote start, access stats like oil life, tire pressure, etc., expire? Or is that connection free forever? Iāve owned my Lariat since 10/19/22. I assume itās a 3 month freebie before I let it go. I would never pay for it
I find it hard to believe that your dealer wonāt address one thing on the list. The battery issue is known and has a fix. Maybe put some energy into complaining to Ford HQ.
I canāt comment on the second part of your post but as to the panic button issue, this drove me nuts. Ive had several fobs with panic buttons on them and none went off with such frequency during normal use. I took the fob apart and removed the panic button contactā¦.permanently!
been on the road for 2 months and decided to change oil on Hybrid at 5200miles. Used the on line manual from Ford.com to confirm oil typ..Clearly states 0-20w synthetic blend. So, thats what I put in. Later, Im reading the hard copy manual and it says full synthetic.. I donāt believe this will...
This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the brake grab/hesitation and loud clunk at low speed issue, zero. The vehicle demonstrates the issue regardless of these settings.
