Nope - b/c I am a cheap-ass, I was able to pay cash for my Mav. I wouldn't want a more expensive vehicle - I prefer early retirement instead.
Bogleheads - the forum where millionaires tout the longevity of their 1993 Camrys. Like any forum, don't take all their advice to heart.
VTSAX* has returned 36% over the same timeline, dividends reinvested.

I recommend Bogleheads forum for the financially curious here. The poster that mentioned his great gamble on Nvidia and Apple needs to think about diversifying!
And people...

From this thread: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/key-cutting-for-keyfobs.46829/
I bought: Strattec 5923293 HU101 transponder key. It will start the truck and unlock it (just not via fob button). And can be DIY programmed.
I have this and with how often it messes up the speed limit, I sure wouldn't want to rely on my vehicle changing the speed by itself!!!
It is also never 100% accurate in Google Maps (GPS / tagging) - so even with Ford Blue cruise I wouldn't trust it. Plus construction areas, etc.
A bit ironic...
The A/T trails are a good, solid tire, with lots of great reviews. I think I'll go with a competitor for lighter weight (higher hybrid MPG), though, or the best price, which would help offset mpg loss...
Stock 225/65r17 sizes:
Falken Wildpeak A/T trail -- 30 lbs
Nokian Outpost APT -- 29.8 lbs...
I hate towing :-\ lol
If we ever went for a trailer, it would be one of these for the expansive windows!

$$$ though
Sorry, but that looks like all the hassle of a trailer and no benefits beyond a decent tent.
It's okay to sleep on the ground!
If you can't for some reason, a large tent and cots work. All without towing anything.
Its not great. Neither is our Sienna. Both are much worse than previous vehicles, but those were smaller (Prius, Rav4, Sportwagen).
An Outback has a good turning radius for it's size. If they had put a hybrid engine in one of those pre-2020, we'd own one now. Not giving up my cheap Mav anytime...

That's awesome that you're 80 and still DIY'ing oil changes!
Also, you could change that Mobil oil at 20k miles and the engine should still outlive you ;)
I spent a lot of time to work out the best pricing. Last Dec FordPartsPros had a 10% off coupon. Maybe wait for black friday sales or keep an eye out weekly.
Some of the smaller items I ordered from other places, as the shipping jumped big time when added to my order. So you really have to...
1. Are you old as dirt?
or
2. Are you a used car dealer?
If not, I can assume hyperbole? Otherwise you spend all of your free time test driving, buying and selling used vehicles?
^I think you got it - should be able to just push it under the plastic side peices.
Ford points will cover the BedRug - got mine for $10 or so. Well worth it and the flat/padding is key vs other options.
lol
Love all the jealous haters.
When I see people speeding and driving like a-holes, I assume that they must be very important people who can't waste their precious time driving like a normal citizen. Apparently we have lots doctors that were just called in to work or just self-indulgent...
Highly unlikely that any mod that costs money will save you more in gas money, though.
Two winners I know of:
Drive slower
Inflate tires more
Oh, third one:
remove excess weight
