A hybrid with winter tires can, indeed, take snow driving, though the more steep/curvy/rough roads and terrain you have to contend with, the more I'd lean more towards the AWD as a preference and recommendation.
Beyond that, it's mainly down to which option you feel you'll ultimately be...

A properly designed catch can is perfectly safe on the whole, *provided* it's installed correctly and maintained. Problems arise if/when incorrect installation occurs or if the person doesn't bother with or forgets to check and maintain it with sufficient frequency.
Oh yeah, I'm zero percent surprised about that one. Installing a catch can is great and everything but, from a Ford Service Department standpoint, it honestly carries a pretty considerable risk if it's not installed (or designed) correctly. A catch can has a much higher likelihood of screwing...
It's an incredibly unpopular opinion on here but it's nice to see other people who appreciate the steelies (and while they're obviously not the lightest wheels, they're actually fairly light for steel). I dig the look they give the truck. I like the normal XLT wheels as well but I'm happy to...
Thank you for this. I plan on lowering my truck but will be keeping my steelies. Most everyone who drops their Maverick and posts pics has already swapped out their wheels.
Sounds good, I appreciate the response. I'm currently waiting for my '23 but I'll definitely be getting in touch with you once I've taken delivery and I'm ready to upgrade my exhaust. Love the note with the added resonator.
My very first car was a 2g DSM so I'm more than familiar with y'all's...
I've been obsessing over tires for awhile now but pretty much had everything figured out. However, since reconsidering the direction I plan to take my truck, it throws my tire selection back into the air.
I've shifted my focus towards a solid street truck setup, with optimum on-road dry and wet...
Sounds about right for a lot of dealerships out there lol. Just out of curiosity, I grabbed an estimate on what Carvana would pay me for my Maverick if I had it in hand and the figure was a couple thousand higher than I'm paying Ford.
It's more than I would personally feel comfortable with without a subframe drop to help counteract the change in geometry. Additionally, adequate shock travel is another point to think about.
I plan on going the Flatout Suspension route with a 1.5"-2" lift for my Maverick so both of those...
The Toyos and Wildpeak AT3Ws are my final contenders if I ultimately go 245. If I end up shooting for 255s instead, Toyos won't be an option so my decision will pretty much be made for me.
You got it. I referenced the 225s simply because it's the standard size for the Maverick, with the 235s being optional. I do admit I forgot you specified it being a Tremor as opposed to a standard Mav though.
As for the Wildpeaks, I presume you're referring to the Wildpeak AT3W vs the Wildpeak...
