The XL is the best buy for the price. Like the song says: You don't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you get what you need! Ford makes the XL constrained by not building enough of them to satisfy the demand.

Should I switch my order back to hybrid for the last week?

You would think all the Ecoboosts could get built. I think the fleet customers took up most of the allocations for the Ecoboost orders.

Property taxes will be less on a 23 than a 24. Also, you will pay about the same amount to purchase the truck after the private offer is done. In some states, the sales tax will also be higher on a 24. The truck is basically unchanged from 23 to 24.

Another sad week from Ford! Surprise me, and prove me wrong! I would like my 23 XL, instead of a 24. I switched to Ecoboost in hopes of getting a 23 Maverick.

I just wish Ford would clearly state the shipping with their prices. The Maverick never really was $19,995.

You can't get a hybrid for $24,900. I believe it is more like $26,495.

A base XL has gone up from $19,995 to $23,400 and that is not counting the shipping going up from $1,495 to $1,595. So a $3,505 increase for the base XL Ecoboost. Even more for the hybrid that used to be the standard engine! Add another $1,500 or so for the hybrid. That is enough to slow...

Didn't anyone get good news today? About time to schedule some more Mavericks! Still not seeing many XL's get scheduled and noticing most getting scheduled are from the first and 2nd day of the September ordering frame.

Got my email from Ford today. 2024 XL in cactus gray. Ecoboost, tow hitch, rubber mats, spray in bedliner with rails, full size spare.

It is not looking like Ford cares much about the XL orders. Showing 13 percent over capacity on XL orders! Was 6 percent over on last report. Ford can surely see that demand for the XL is way over what they want to produce! Ford is only showing 20 percent capacity for XL in 2024!

I will stick with my XL Ecoboost order. I'm not willing to shell out two or three more thousand dollars, and I really think the XL offers enough to be a good truck. Everybody is different, but I think I will be happy with the XL.

Has anyone received 2024 order confirmation today? Wondering if the computer problems have been solved?

I checked the price on my XL order for 2024. It came out to $1,530.00 more than the 2023 order. The price difference is the Feb. 23, $500 increase, the $805 2024 increase, and the bed rail package of $225 that was discounted on the 2023 order.
