  7. What’s Ford’s thought process on exterior color changes?

    Ford seems to care more for fleet customers than individual retail customers. I guess it's all about the money. At least, that's the way it looks to me. I'm glad they still have the atlas blue!

    I hate to see Ford only producing 20 percent in 2024 for the XL. Seems they are catering to the fleet customers in this segment. It would be interesting to know what percent of the XL orders are for fleet customers. Why can fleet customers get two colors that are not available to regular...

    Sounds like a rumor to me. The order guide still has the XL listed.

    Yes, the shipping went up $100 and that is included. Ford should have added $1,495 to their advertised price of $19,995 to begin with. It is now $1,595.00 for shipping.

    I agree with you on this! I used to bargain, also. Now, you are lucky to get MSRP. I still refuse the dealer add-ons.

    $3,505.00 increase from 2022 to 2024 for a base XL Ecoboost.

    MSRP is a lot better than paying 5 to 10 thousand over! It was wrong for Ford to say the new Maverick was under $20,000. Who can buy a truck without paying for shipping? In 2024 the base XL will be $24,995. That's up from $21,490 for the 2022 model.

    Ford is not giving enough notice on this. At this point I don't know if I even want a 2024. Would be nice to know if I will get scheduled for a 23, before deciding if I want a 24!
