Are these figures all from the computer or are some of them verified by actual math? From what I have read on here, the computer is about 8 percent too high.
Most of us have been waiting about a year or more and have received many emails from Ford. Most of us are already tired of the emails and just ready to get a truck. Good luck to you, but you've only just begun! Song is by the Carpenters.
I was only 71 when I placed the order. Now, I'm 72 and still waiting. I have owned nine Rangers over the years and have been waiting for Ford to come out with another small truck.
Yes, Ford should give your order priority as a rollover. Double check with your dealer and make sure they did properly rollover your order with the same name, order code, and sales code.
Your order should receive priority for 2024, however, remember that Ford is already scheduling some new orders from July that are not rollovers. It is not a perfect or fair ordering system. I think you meant you originally ordered in 2022, not 2023. Correct me if I am wrong.
Well, I want an XL, so that will not change. Already switched to Ecoboost, so we will see what happens. I can't control dealer allocations, so not much I can do about that. Had to stick with my dealer to get a rollover order.
At 72 years old, I am not as patient as you are. It is especially frustrating when you see orders from July 2023 getting scheduled before Sept. 2022 orders. Good luck to you and everyone else on getting a truck!
One of my biggest complaints is communication with the customer. So, I ordered a hybrid and 3 months later Ford says we have too many hybrid orders. I changed to Ecoboost thinking I have a better chance of getting a truck. Then, I find out the tow hitch is constrained. I drop the hitch and...
It's not to early to pop a gasket! I already popped mine! I wanted a 23 and won't get that. I wanted a hybrid and won't get that. I wanted a few options that were constrained. I won't get those, either.
I'm glad you understand it, because I sure don't. I can't even get a base XL Ecoboost, after wanting a hybrid. I am 72 years old and have owned many Fords, but never had a process this long and difficult to get a new vehicle. I do appreciate the information that you share!
Just ordered an XL Ecoboost with a full size spare. I wouldn't think that would be constrained. Been waiting a little over 11 months. Switched from hybrid since Ford said better chance to get an Ecoboost. I dropped several options to hopefully get a 23, and it got me nowhere!
How is it fair for new 24 orders to get scheduled before rollovers? I saw some orders today that were less than a month old get scheduled. The allocation system does not seem fair to me. It sure isn't first come, first served!
So what good did it do for Ford to say they would prioritize the 23 rollovers?? Evidently, it did no good, since they are scheduling some of the new orders before the rollovers. So can we trust what Ford says? The proof is in what you do Ford. It is not in what you said!
